What an exciting few weeks it has been! Every week, we encounter Ashley, a homeless woman who grew up in a buddhist family. From our first tentative meeting where she would only allow us to bless her with a tent, through several others in which she heard truth breaking down lies...to our most recent meeting where she stated, "I'm not calling myself a Christian yet..." -- God's love has been tugging at her heart and she knows it!
Then there was Annabelle. Two weeks prior, she had been run over by a car while on a bike. Both feet and her right side were injured. I prayed for her feet, she stood up and was astonished to find the pain gone, and mobility fully returned. We continued to rid her of the rest of the pain in her leg, hip and ribs. After suggesting she check her body, she ran back and forth (barely able to walk minutes prior) praising Jesus for His amazing love!
On Saturday, Victor says, "I have some news to report..."
Victor has a cane and walker for stability due to amputation of two of his toes. Over the past couple of months, we had the opportunity to pray for him a few times, an
d he felt the Holy Spirit touch him. He chuckled at the thought of new toes growing, but was willing to receive our faith that God is able to do more than we can ask or imagine. On his last visit, Victor's doctor confirmed that the little nubs he was feeling were not there before, and "...if this continues, you'll have toes by this time next month!"
We thank the Lord for His faithfulness, for His truth, and for acceleration of this creative miracle, in Jesus name Amen!
